We are a company providing mechanical, on-set and atmospherics services as well as breakaway props and pyrotechnic solutions to the entertainment industry. From feature films to art installations and everything in between. If you are looking to hire equipment, book effects technicians, or are requiring full design and manufacturing facilities, Special Effects Australia has you covered. We are Sydney based but can provide these services both nationally and internationally.
Pre-production services
To get your production off to the right start. Special Effects Australia can assist with any of the following: Script breakdowns, budgets, technical scouts, risk assessments.
Workshop Facilities
A comprehensive workshop is available for use including steel fabrication, milling and turning, timber work and breakaways. We can now also provide CAD/CAM services including CNC milling and 3D FDM printing.
Pyrotechnics
You will have the most experienced pyrotechnicians working for you in Australia, with some of our crew gaining experience on productions such as Stealth, Fury and Terminator: Dark Fate you’re only limited by your imagination.
